Submit your backyard photos!!
My Backyard Beach invites you to submit a photo of your own backyard that embodies the laid-back beach lifestyle. All photos must be original and contain some aspect of the ocean, lake, or beach life. Thank you for inspiring others to follow your example and create a vacation in their own backyards!
Terms and Conditions of Entry
- Submitting photos is free – there is no charge to enter.
- You may submit as many photographs as you’d like to My Backyard Beach. However, we make an effort to feature a variety of backyards with different flavors and locales; therefore, we may not be able to feature more than one picture of your backyard.
- All photos must be original, meaning you may only enter photographs that you took (either in your backyard or a friend’s backyard) and for which you own the copyright and have the necessary permissions.
- You will keep the copyright of your submitted photos at all times, and My Backyard Beach will never own the copyright to your photos.
- Your name will always be credited alongside your photo or as a small overlay in the corner of your photo. If you do not wish to be credited, please include this on the submittal form.
- By submitting a photo, you give My Backyard Beach permanent, non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to display your submitted photo on the My Backyard Beach website, on My Backyard Beach social media accounts, and in any content associated with My Backyard Beach.
- Photo submissions may be horizontally or vertically oriented, and should be at least 1024 pixels along the long edge.
- My Backyard Beach reserves the right to crop photos.
- Images must not include a border. If an image includes a border, My Backyard Beach reserves the right to crop out the border.
- A subtle watermark in the corner of the image is acceptable, but My Backyard Beach reserves the right to crop photos, which may remove a watermark.
